Hartline Products Co., Inc. was established in 1964 by Jesse Hart Jr., an industrious World War II veteran. The company was run by Mr. Hart and his wife Dorothy in a small office near their Cleveland, Ohio home. Our first product, Rockite anchoring and patching cement, was manufactured in a nearby Cleveland facility.
In the early 1970s, Jesse discovered his love of working hardware trade shows. He personally worked 30 of the 100 trade shows each year in which Hartline exhibited, which helped build our remarkably varied customer base, and Rockite’s unparalleled quality continued to emerge. Our second product Kwixset – a weatherproof, anchoring cement – further propelled Hartline Products to the top of quality brand recognition in the market.
Today, Hartline Products has grown into a multi-million dollar company employing 20 workers, including Jesse’s son Chris Hart, daughter Becky Hart, son-in-law Ted Williams, and grandchildren Andrew and David Hart.
